Where are you from ?

Born and raised in Alkmaar, The Netherlands but been in Haarlem for the past ten years.

What do you do & and what inspired you to begin this journey?

I’m the owner of a sense of Place, or ASOP, a natural wine shop in de Jordaan, Amsterdam.

Could vou share a wine that's particularly memorable to you?

Morgon Cote de Py by Jean Foillard. It’s never the craziest bottle on the table, but to me it’s the perfect wine. 

What draws you to Natural wines?

The winemakers behind them and their beliefs in nature, local economy, their sense of adventure. But foremost, of course, the delicious flavors.

Where is your favorite place in Amsterdam?

For a cozy glass with my girlfriend I’d say Bar Parry. I love the atmosphere there.

Do you have any other suggestions for things to do or places to visit in the city?

Amsterdam is a city to just walk around and soak in both its beauty and the weirdness. I would start in de Jordaan.
